Competition Terms and Conditions
The ‘Name Our 10,000th Hound’ competition closes at 6pm on Saturday 7th September 2019. The prize draw suppliers are Burns Pet Food Nutrition, Canine Cottages and a Forever Hounds Trust donor. The competition Promoter is Forever Hounds Trust.
Entrants must nominate one female and one male name for our 10,000th hound as per the rules of the competition to qualify.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
Entry is not open to people outside the UK, staff and trustees of the prize suppliers or competition Promoter.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
The winner will be selected by Thursday 12th September 2019 from all valid entrants after the closing date.
All winners will be notified by email or post, and the top three winners’ names will be publicised via the Promoter’s social media channels and website.
Forever Hounds Trust reserves the right to disregard names that are inappropriate or offensive.
A dog’s new family may decide to change the name of the hound on homing.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.
Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
The prize suppliers reserve the right to make substitutions to the advertised prize contents.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and photograph with the named 10,000th hound (so far as is practical).
The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of the condition at any time.
