Part 3: Homing

Hurrah, another hound has found their forever home!  Happy ‘gotcha day’… this is when you get to collect your new family member from kennels. We ask you to complete some paperwork, and we also ask that you make a donation towards our costs of re-homing each dog. Forever Hounds Trust spend around £800, and often considerably more, on getting a dog ready for re-homing. Find out more about this here.

Part 4: Support

Happily homed lurcher Brody

“Our new house didn’t feel like a home until this bundle of fur arrived and for the past 24 months he has been constantly putting a smile on my face and making any problem seem irrelevant with just one wag of his tail.”

Charlotte Lewis, new mum to Brody the lurcher

“Mikki is the most affectionate black and tan lurcher and also very handsome. We’re looking forward to a good few happy years together – two cheerful old fogeys, enjoying life in Devon.”

Margaret, new mum to Mikki the lurcher
