Our ‘Help a Hound’ Big Give Christmas Challenge is now live!
Your donation can make twice the impact for hounds like Faye
This year’s Big Give Christmas Appeal is raising vital funds for dogs like Faye. Until recently, Faye was raced at Swindon Greyhound Stadium – and with the track set to close at the end of the year, many more dogs just like her will urgently need our help.
When Faye arrived, she had already lost 11 teeth. Even so, our vets were extremely concerned by the heavy plaque build-up and advanced gum recession. She was booked in for an immediate dental procedure and, after a long surgery, a further 25 teeth had to be removed to relieve her pain and prevent future infection.
Our Big Give Christmas Appeal which runs from Tuesday 2nd December until midday on Tuesday 9th December will directly help dogs like Faye who will come into our care in 2026.
During this week, every donation you make up to our target of £10,300 will be MATCHED, so your contribution could have TWICE the impact. This means we could potentially raise a fabulous £20,600 which would make a huge difference to many more hounds lives.
