Brodie is a 2-year-old gentle giant, looking for his forever home. He’s a big bundle of fun who come across and bouncy and outgoing, but is actually not all that confident. He will tend to jump up when excited to say hello, but also as a coping strategy when he’s feeling a bit anxious about the current situation!
Brodie can be worried by some other dogs, and may bark or growl to ask to be left alone if approached. He could live with another dog if it was the right match, or as the only pet at home. He would prefer to live in a rural or semi-rural area, as he finds more suburban areas a bit overwhelming at the moment. Brodie walks well on the lead, and likes to stick close to your leg when walking. Given his size, he could be a handful if he did get excited on-lead!
Brodie is very friendly and affectionate with people, though he can be a bit full-on when first saying hello. This is partly excitement, and partly his way of coping when he feels a bit anxious! Due to his size and sensitive nature, we’re looking for a home with older children only. Brodie isn’t a fan of spending a lot of time on his own, so will need someone around most of the time.
If you think big, beautiful Brodie could be the dog for you, please get in touch!
