About Bruce

Bruce is a very loving and friendly greyhound boy. He is sociable with both people and other sighthounds. He can be excited and confused by other breeds (especially smaller ones, or dogs that look very different) and is currently having ongoing socialisation sessions at our Centre. He appears to have mainly social intentions, but struggles to stay calm and appropriate when meeting other breed dogs. He will need ongoing socialisation in the home, and care should be taken around different breeds when out on walks. Bruce is confident out and about, even in busier areas. He walks beautifully on-lead, but can be very strong if excited!

Homing Needs

• Could live with teenagers
• Would prefer to share his home with another large sighthound (no other breeds/visiting dogs of other breeds)
• Would prefer not to be left alone too much
• Walking areas without off-lead dogs
• Needs gradual, ongoing socialisation around other dog breeds
