Darling Clover was found wandering as a stray in bad condition, having been abandoned once her racing career was over. She was nursed back to health before coming to us as Forever Hounds Trust, where she will be safe and loved until she finds the right home. Although she showed some nervousness at the pound, since joining us, she has shown a love of people and a gentle, friendly nature that will make her a perfect pet.
This lovely three-year-old greyhound is keen to be everyone’s friend, and could live with children of any age. She’s clearly used to other dog breeds, and has tested really well with our small terrier, so could live with any size of dog. She stayed in a home for a short time, and was unhappy about being left alone, so her ideal place would be with someone who is around a lot of the time, and where there are other doggy pals to keep her company. She’s currently living in foster with three other dogs, and is living in clover!
Clover delights in playing with toys, and is happy to share them. What she loves most of all, however, is cuddles and fuss! Although she’s really sociable, she can be overwhelmed in very busy situations, so care will need to be taken in introducing her to hectic environments. We know that Clover used to race under the name Touch of Frosty: could you offer her a home before the weather turns warmer, and give her a reason to blossom into the fabulous pet we know she will be?
