Delta is currently in foster, being assessed and awaiting dental treatment. We may already have a suitable home offer for Delta on our waiting list. However, if we don’t hear from any of our current home offers, we will then make Delta available, provide further details, and accept new home offers for her. At that point, the option to apply to home this lovely girl will appear. Watch this space!

About Delta

The lovely Delta is a large lurcher girl of around 9-10 years old, looking for her forever home. Delta has come into our care due to a change of circumstances, having lived in a home for her whole life. She’s a very gentle, laid-back dog who loves fuss and attention. She’s a real couch potato, who spends most of her time snoozing! Delta does enjoy her walks (around 20 minutes is plenty) and walks beautifully on the lead. She’s sociable with other dogs and will happily greet them on walks, though she’s not overly bothered about making the first move! Delta is house-trained, travels well in the car and can be left alone at home for short periods. She has lived with young kids previously and is very good with them, but at her age would probably prefer a quieter life!

Homing Needs

• A quiet, relaxed home environment.
• Could live with another dog (probably of a similar age) but would be equally happy as the only pet.
• Would probably prefer a quiet life with adults or older kids, but would be fine with visiting children.
• Enjoys short walks, but doesn’t needs loads of exercise.
• Can be left alone for short periods.
• Would suit a retired person perfectly!
