Elsie is currently in the care of another rescue organisation – Forever Hounds Trust have agreed to feature her on our website, in the hopes of getting her in front of a hound-loving audience!
Elsie is an 8-year-old lurcher girl, looking for her forever home. She’s a bouncy bundle of fun (and legs!) who is super playful and likes to make people laugh! She’s an affectionate dog, who loves lounging on a sofa and meeting new people. She could live with older children, pending introductions. Elsie is used to home life – she is house trained, fine being left and used to travelling (though she can find car journeys a bit stressful). Elsie can be vocal towards unknown dogs if they approach her, which is due to a mixture of frustration and fear. Once she’s been properly introduced to another dog, she is very bouncy and playful, but she would need to be walked in areas without too many other dogs about. Elsie would be able to live as the only dog or with another dog if suitably matched. She could also be adopted along with her best friend – greyhound boy, Proki. She cannot live with cats or small furries, as she will bark at them and chase. Elsie on medication for her joints, which means she still acts like a youngster!
Elsie is currently with another rescue, so to register your interest in this lovely girl, please click here and we will pass your details on.
