About Fern

Fern is a small-medium sized lurcher girl of around 8-9 months old, looking for her forever home after a difficult start in life. Fern is a sweet, affectionate dog who thrives on human company. She’s also a big fan of other dogs, and enjoys making new friends! She is currently staying in a home with another dog, who she gets along brilliantly with; she will need to live with another dog in her new home, as she struggles with being left alone without canine company. Fern does like to play rough, and also loves to cuddle up with other dogs to sleep, so any resident dogs must be comfortable with this! Fern has been spending time with children from age 6+ and has been very good with them, but she is a bouncy girl and would be too much for very small kids. She walks well on the lead and has good recall off-lead in safe areas – as long as there are no rabbits or squirrels about, since she has a very high prey drive! Being a young dog, Fern has plenty of energy and would suit a fairly active family.
