About General

General is a 5 year old greyhound boy, looking for his forever home. General is very sociable with people, and enjoys gentle fuss and attention. He gets along well with other sighthounds, but finds different breed dogs a bit confusing at the moment – especially smaller dogs! Our behaviour team have been working on this with him and he has made good progress so far, but he will need ongoing care around smaller dogs in his new home. He travels well in the car and enjoys his walks.

General’s Homing Needs

• Could live as the only pet, or with another sighthound.
• Could live with teenagers.
• Needs a secure garden.
• Needs walking areas without off-lead dogs, who might run over to him.
• Adopters physically able to handle him on-lead, if he does become worried by another dog.
