If you adopt Jack (or any of our dogs), you will be entitled to receive FREE behavioural support from our qualified team of behaviourists for any issues you might need help with during his lifetime. Further information will be given when homing Jack. Please note, this support is only available for dogs adopted from Forever Hounds Trust.
Jack is a 2-year-old greyhound boy, looking for his forever home. He’s a bouncy, friendly young dog who absolutely loves the company of people and other dogs! He’s an affectionate boy and likes to lean on your leg for fuss. He could live with older kids, pending introductions, but would be too boisterous for young children.
Jack gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, although can can be over-enthusiastic when meeting different breeds at the moment. He has very friendly intentions and his manners should improve with time and socialisation – smaller dogs are still a novelty for him! Jack could live with another large dog, or as the only pet at home.
Although Jack is keen to make new friends, he isn’t as brave as he might seem! He can be very worried in busier environments, especially places with a lot of people and noise. He’s looking for either a rural or quiet suburban home, where he can gain confidence in his own time. Jack isn’t used to living in a home environment, so will need patience and understanding whilst he adjusts to life as a loved family member.
