Jethro is a sweet, gentle 2 year old greyhound boy looking for his forever home. He is a sensitive soul who can be worried about the world in general! Jethro currently finds walks quite overwhelming and will tend to freeze when feeling unsure. As such he’d prefer to just mooch around the garden rather than go out for adventures, at least to start with! He may learn to enjoy his walks in time and with a very gradual introduction, but would not cope with busy walking areas so needs a rural or semi-rural home.
An affectionate and interactive dog, Jethro prefers gentle handling and a calm, quiet environment. For this reason he wouldn’t want to live with children, or in a busy household. Jethro will need plenty of time and space to come out of his shell at his own pace.
Jethro enjoys the company of other hounds and may benefit from a calm and confident resident dog to support him as he learns about home life (he would prefer a female companion please!). He’s still getting used to the idea of smaller dogs – his intentions are social but he does find them over-exciting at the moment! This should improve with time and experience.
Please get in touch if you can offer Jethro his forever home – how can you resist that face?
