About Viva & Uno
Viva is a 7-year old galgo girl and her best friend Uno is a 10-year old whippet. These girls have come into our care because of a change of circumstances in their previous home, and we’re hoping to find them a forever home where they can stay together. Uno is the more confident of the pair, and is a typical whippet princess who likes to be waited on (she will even try to help herself to your cup of tea!). Viva can be more nervous, especially of men, but with patience she gains confidence and is a very sweet and affectionate girl. Both girls love their home comforts, especially the sofa! Viva can be fearful of some unfamiliar dogs, and may bark as she passes them on walks. They’re looking for a quiet, relaxed home environment, ideally in a rural area. Both girls are used to living in a home environment, are house-trained and generally easy to live with (though Uno isn’t afraid to speak up if she wants something!).
Homing Needs
- Would like to stay as a pair if possible!
- A quiet home, ideally adult only.
- Walks in areas without too many other dogs.
- Ideally a rural or quiet suburban environment.
- Can be left for short periods.
- Viva has a skin condition and eats a special diet to control this, Uno requires ongoing treatment for dry eyes.
