This cute as a button greyhound has won all of our hearts with his shy ways and gentle affection. Benny a gorgeous black boy who lacks confidence in a new situations, but as soon as he gets to know you, he loves to have an ear rub and a lean, and will nudge you for more if you stop. He’s also just learning how to play with toys, and will happily take treats if they’re on offer!

Because he’s only ever met greyhounds in his short life, Benny can get a bit over-excited when meeting new, small breeds of dog. He’ll need quiet places to walk, and a secure garden to run in, while he continues to learn that all dogs can be his friends! He will also need an owner strong enough to hold him if he decides he wants to chase a squirrel or two – generally, however, he walks beautifully on the lead.

Bright-eyed Benny is just two years old, and can offer his new family many years of love and affection, as well as the opportunity to see him blossom into a happy, confident pet. He could live with another large breed, and older children who will give him time and space to come to them. Benny raced under the name of Jazz Love, but he’s happy with any kind of music as long as he can listen to it while lying on the sofa. Could you be the one to tune in the stereo for him, and help him relax into home life?
