Chuckie – Homed

  • Greyhound
  • Male
  • Can live with children, 10 plus
  • Somerset
  • Would like a home to go to together

Plucky Chuckie is a five-year-old ex-racing greyhound who’s bravely taking on a whole new world. Everything he sees and hears is a new experience for him, but he’s taking it all in his stride, with a healthy dose of wide-eyed wonder. During his former life, Chuckie lived on an allotment, and has never known the comforts of a home. Nonetheless, this charming chap loves people, and is always keen for a bit of fuss. He’s also always up for a treat!

Chuckie walks brilliantly on the lead, and is interested in everything around him. He does get a bit alarmed by traffic, so a home away from busy roads would be best. This handsome black boy could live with other dogs, and with older children – he’s a sweetheart, but does jump up when he gets excited. He passed our terrier test, being keen to make friends, but care will need to be taken around small furries, as he has been trained to chase fluffy objects.

Chuckie is excited by toys, but isn’t sure what to do with them yet – he has so many fun things to learn. Will you turn Plucky Chuckie into Lucky Chuckie, by taking this lad into your life, and showing him the ways of a wonderful new world, full of love?
