Dexter is a lovely sweet boy who loves cuddles and snuggles. He is only 26 inches to the shoulder so is on the petite side for a male greyhound. He has been on a few trips to the park, local town and cafes with our volunteers and he has been very well behaved. He usually chooses to have 40 winks whilst we have our coffee.

Dexter is learning some basic commands and he even manages a lovely sit which he wanted you to see in his photographs. He is only a young man (he recently turned 2) and is very enthusiastic about everything. He always greets our volunteers with a lovely wagging tail and lots of cuddles. He would be able to live with children and ideally would like to live with another dog / dogs.

Dexter mixes well with other sight hounds but can be a little enthusiastic when meeting other dogs and will need further work on the most appropriate way to say hello. He is improving on this all of the time and is already doing much better in this area. Please get in touch if you think you could offer our lovely boy a home.

Calls to our 03000 helpline number cost the same as calling any UK 01 or 02 landline number; please check with your provider for further details. Forever Hounds Trust does not receive any income from calls made to our helpline.
