Darling Dolly

Super sociable Dolly is the life and soul of the party. She loves everyone, and is always eager to make news friends – especially if they have toys to play with. This little girl will be the first to greet you at the door, doling out kisses and bouncing up and down in excitement. She’ll then be the perfect party planner – showing everyone how it’s done. Dolly is so confident, she’s been used as a kennel partner for nervous dogs to give them a boost, and has no issues over sharing her food with guests. In fact, she’s such a great host, she didn’t even mind when her next-door neighbour climbed into her kennel in the night, looking for company, and borrowed her bed!

Dolly will happily live with other sighthounds or large dogs, but as an ex-racer, she can get over excited by small breeds, and will need continuing socialisation around them to stop her being just too ‘friendly’ for comfort! She will need quiet areas to walk where there are not too many off lead dogs, and a secure garden or paddock to run around in.

Ears permanently pricked for any sign of fun, Dolly would love to have a fairly active home with older children, where she can be at the centre of everything. This six-year-old black lovely has been in kennels much longer than she should have; will yours be the family to finally offer her a home of her own, and make her the happiest, most hospitable hound in town?
