Ever-ready Eddy

  • Greyhound
  • Male

Ever-ready Eddy is a gorgeous, cuddly bundle of fun. A friendly, sociable boy who enjoys the company of people and dogs, he’s a five-year-old ex-racing greyhound – and while he raced under the name Black Adder, he would like us to point out that he also has some very handsome white patches!

We recently took him ‘down the town’, where he was initially a bit nervous, but soon got into his stride. He enjoyed watching the ducks, but didn’t chase them – and he even ignored the squirrels in the park! He ventured into a couple of shops, and was social with all of the dogs we met. He could live with another large or medium breed, but will need on going familiarisation with small dogs.

This lovely lad is a sensitive soul who responds gratefully to a loving hand. He walks well on the lead and enjoys gentle fuss and affection – he’ll nudge you for more if you stop stroking him! He wants to play with toys, but is still working out what to do with them, and always takes treats gently.

Steady Eddy’s ready for his forever home – are you ready to take him in?
