Gorgeous George is a friendly seven-year-old greyhound who still has a spring in his step (especially when footballs are involved – perhaps he’s named after George Best!). He is equally happy to snooze on the sofa once playtime is over, and is not demanding, even though he really loves fuss and attention.

George is a sensitive soul who is worried by loud noises and busy places, so would like to live in a quiet, rural area. He is housetrained, used to being left for a few hours at a time and has been described as the perfect house guest!

George enjoys the company of other dogs, but he isn’t particularly confident around them – he needs an owner who will pay attention to his body language, and help him out when he’s feeling anxious. He would like to be the only dog at home, but would enjoy meeting up with polite canine friends when out and about.

George loves interacting with people, and could live with older children based on introductions. He walks beautifully on the lead and travels well in the car. George is desperate to find a loving home, so please get in touch if you think he’s the dog for you!
