Gentle Glade

Glade is a people person! This beautiful saluki girl is desperate for human company, and loves a fuss, rolling over on her back for belly rubs whenever she gets the chance. Three-year-old Glade had a tough start in life, and has been badly treated in the past, which makes her love of people even more impressive.

Unsurprisingly, she can be nervous when approached by new humans or dogs, and will need a quiet, careful home who can give her plenty of time and space to build her trust and confidence. Glade will probably do best as the only dog in a household, and with older children or teenagers who will respect her need to be handled calmly. She will want to be walked in peaceful areas without lots of off-lead dogs.

By continuing with her training plan, and offering support and understanding, Glade’s new owners will be able to help her to become more relaxed around new dogs. This gorgeous girl just needs a bit of care and kindness, and she will reward you with all the love in her elegant body. Could you have room in your heart for her?
