Lilo – In foster

  • Greyhound

  • Would like a home to go to together

Hard-working Lilo raced almost 100 times during his career, and now he thinks he deserves a well-earned rest, and a long, comfortable retirement. This six-year-old boy has spent the last few years living on an allotment, and now wants to experience all the delights of home life – especially those sofas he’s heard so much about.

Lilo walks beautifully on the lead, and although it seems as though he hasn’t experienced much of the world so far, he is inquisitive and keen to investigate. He has been fine when left alone in kennels, so should be happy to be left at home for a few hours, as long as the time is built up gradually. A friendly, social lad, he loves a gentle fuss, although he takes a little while to come out of his shell with new people. Lilo has got on well with all the other dogs he’s met, including a small terrier, and could live with other dogs. He could also live with older children who will give him plenty of time to get to know them.

This gorgeous black greyhound adores his food, and is very interested to find out what toys are for. All he needs is a loving home where he can put his paws up and learn to be the perfect pet at his own pace – which will be a bit slower then he used to go round the track, thank you very much! Could you give Lilo somewhere lovely to lie low, forever?
