Loveable Ludo

Loveable Ludo is a handsome 3 year old saluki cross, looking for his forever home. As you can see from his photos, Ludo is a really loving boy who thrives on fuss and affection. As such, he’d prefer not to be left alone for long in his new home. Ludo has previously lived with children, enjoys their company and would love to live with them again – though he may be too excitable for very small kids! He’s incredibly playful and always ready for an adventure, but is equally happy to snuggle up on the sofa for a snooze.

Ludo loves the company of other dogs, and would be happy to share his home with a canine companion. He can become over-excited about meeting new dogs on walks, and previously would bark and pull on the lead when encountering them. Ludo has been working really hard on this, and has made a huge amount of progress – he now behaves beautifully on walks through the local park, with only minor support from his handler. Ludo’s training plan will need to be continued in his new home, and his adopters will have ongoing support from our behaviour team to help with this.

Ludo has been with us for some time now, and we can’t understand why he hasn’t been snapped up yet! He’s a real character and a favourite with all our volunteers, thanks to his fun-loving nature. Give Ludo a chance, and you’re sure to fall in love too!
