Magic Marcus is a ready-made pet! This handsome black greyhound has been living with a family for several years, and is being rehomed due to no fault of his own after their circumstances changed. Marcus is not your typical rescue greyhound, fresh from the racetrack! He’s is regularly exercised off lead in a park with lots of other dogs, with whom he is used to making friends; he has good recall; walks well on the lead; is used to being left alone in his crate for up to four hours; and is fully housetrained.

Although affectionate and up for cuddles, Marcus is quite independent, and happy to amuse himself. He isn’t realty interested in toys, but he does love to rip up crisp packets and plastic bags! He’s happy to meet dogs both large and small (although greyhounds are his favourite), and could live with a canine companion – but he is scared of cats! Marcus is relaxed around children, but we are recommending that he be homed with teenagers or adults only, as he did show some food guarding behaviours when he first went home.

This seven-year-old really is one chilled out hound. All he needs is someone to love and care for him – and a sofa to call his own. Will you help get this lad, who’s been used to all the comforts of home life, get out of kennels as quick as he can?
