Maia – In Foster

  • Whippet X
  • Female
  • Would like the company of another dog or dogs

Pocket rocket Maia is a beautiful short-coated Whippet x Saluki lurcher who was living on the streets in Ireland before being rescued. As a result, she is very timid around new people, but is learning to trust those she knows, and her loving personality is beginning to shine through.

This lovely little girl is looking for an experienced sighthound home, ideally with knowledge of Saluki lurchers, where she will be met with the patience and kindness she needs to help her blossom.  Maia needs calm canine company to give her confidence and show her the ropes in her new home.

Maia is still a work in progress, but we believe she will come on in leaps and bounds once away from the kennel environment. She’ll only take up a tiny space on your sofa, but she’ll fill all of your heart. Will you give this darling little lass a chance?

Calls to our 03000 helpline number cost the same as calling any UK 01 or 02 landline number; please check with your provider for further details. Forever Hounds Trust does not receive any income from calls made to our helpline.
