Come along and join us for one of our regular sighthound (and human) social walks that run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month from The Old Lodge in Minchinhampton. These walks are a great opportunity for dogs and people to socialse, and share our love of our long dogs, seek advice/guidance from experienced owners, have a nice chat, or what good sniffs we find on our walks!
The walk itself sets off from The Old Lodge at about 10:10 am, and is a 45 minute loop over grassland, with even ground underneath most of the walk (there is one small hill). On dry days the ground is firm, but when wet it can be muddy underfoot, so good shoes/wellies are advised! We also ask that all dogs be kept on leads for their own safety, and that of others.
As the walk starts and ends at the Old Lodge we often go in for a small coffee and chat at the end of the walk- it is dog friendly, but quite cosy when there is a lot of us, so be prepared to tessellate your dogs on entry!
