Come along and join us for a post Christmas sighthound walk at Chew Valley Lake. The walk will take around one hour to walk at a slow leisurely pace and there are plenty of rest stops along the way. There are also public toilets along the route.
Meeting in the Carpark at Picnic Area 1 for 10am for a 10.30am start. This beautiful walk around the Chew Valley Nature Trail and Lake is on even and uneven Paths (Please wear suitable footwear for walking ) Overflow Parking is also available in Picnic Area 2.
Bristol Water charge for Parking at chew valley Lake the tariffs are £2.50 for 2 hours and £4.80 for all day parking. This is a coinless parking area and all parking is payable via the Ringo App online. Please make sure you have the App Downloaded to your phone prior to arriving.
The Salt and Malt Fish and Chip Restaurant/Cafe is on site serving delicious food, with hot and cold drinks available .
Dogs are not permitted in the Cafe/Restaurant area, however there is a large outside terrace area to sit and enjoy a hot drink and views of the lake.
This is an onlead Dog walk and dogs must not be off lead at any time, as this area is an important site for Wildlife. We will have a collection Tin along with the Card machine if you would like to make donations on the day.
