Join us for a walk on beautiful Dartmoor including a visit to Two Bridges Hotel on our return for food and refreshments.
The walk starts at the Hotel and will take us on a approximately 5 mile (8 km) circular route to the ancient Wistman’s Wood past Longafore Tors and back. There are off road paths and a steep uphill section to navigate so please wear appropriate foot wear and clothing. Don’t forget your dog may also need a coat this time of year. A waterproof coat is also advisable as the weather can change quickly on Dartmoor. Don’t forget to pack a little snack and a drink for yourself and your four legged friend for the half way break at Longafore Tors.
Important: This walk is fairly strenuous and will not be suitable for some people. Please only participate if you and your dog are fit and healthy and have undertaken longer walks like this before.
