A walk around Haddon woods Owned by the Woodland Trust.
Please join us for the 2023 Great Global Greyhound walk. This will be a public walk which includes Sighthounds and breeds from a Sighthound family.
All Dogs must be kept on a lead for the duration of this walk for safety reasons.
We will meet at the Alhampton Inn Pub Carpark at 10.45am ready to set off at 11am.
The walk is a loop of around 2-3 miles, please do what you or your Dog can tolerate, it is mostly flat terrain. Please wear suitable attire depending on the weather.
We will have a small selection of jams and chutneys for sale, and a Raffle on the day in aid of Forever hounds Trust. There will also be light refreshments tea, coffee and cake on sale for a donation to the charity.
Please note that the Alhampton Inn are Currently not serving food, however drinks and snacks such as crisps are available to purchase from the pub which opens at 12pm.
The Alhampton Inn closed its doors in November of last year.
However the local villagers and community have come together to purchase the pub and have recently reopened it. It will be good to support the local community by having the walk at this venue.
