Social walk across the river Frome and through Moreton Forest. There’s free parking near The Walled Garden Moreton as well as in a large field at the corner of Station & Hurst road pass the Old School . We meet at the corner of The Street on the way to Moreton Ford Longbridge.
All level ground walk approx. 1 hour through mainly shady forest areas. Near the end of walk there’s a large field for zoomies. If you like, visit St. Nicolas Church & cemetery where Lawrence of Arabia is buried.
After walk, Sunday Carvery or yummy burgers at the Red Lion with outdoor grass seating area. They’re looking forward to us coming! Winfrith DT2 8LE
