Did you know that Forever Hounds Trust deliver talks about our work locally? Most recently, Karen and Eric (the hound) – volunteers from our Fundraising North team – spent time with Ness W.I. Due to their generosity, over £100 was raised for the dogs in our care, which is a fantastic total!
Anna Claxton, Project Manager for Community Fundraising Development, said: ‘Our volunteers, and of course their wonderful dogs, are fantastic ambassadors for the charity and the community speaker role is a flexible way to make an obvious difference. Community talks not only raise funds that we so desperately need – they also raise awareness of what wonderful family members sighthounds make. I would encourage anyone to get in touch if they would like to receive a talk or deliver one for us in their local area.’
Want to get involved? Please email volunteering@foreverhoundstrust.org for more information about helping or receiving a talk. We will give you full support and training and you will be joining a great group of people who are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of dogs up and down the country.’
