We were delighted to be visited at the office by our London Marathon runner Martin Butler, who raised an amazing £1,250 for Forever Hounds Trust! We made sure that we had some hound helpers on hand to give him a warm (and slightly soggy) thank you!
Martin completed the course in an impressive 5 hours and 18 minutes and said that when he was finding it really tough around mile 20 the thought of the dogs that his fundraising would support kept him going.
Martin has his own hounds at home – whippets Breeze and Monty, but he was so smitten by our four legged residents I think we’ve convinced him he might have space for a greyhound or two!
