You may well remember little Rio, our 8 month old whippet lurcher who came to us with broken bones in both of his hing legs.
He has recovered well from his surgery and we are pleased to report that his is settled into a new foster home and is making good progress – all thanks to the wonderful generosity of our supporters.
The specialist vet who has been seeing Rio is happy with his most recent x-rays and Rio is now able to start some gentle walks to build up the strength in his legs.
The story for this lovely dog could have been so different had he not been able to have the treatment he needed for his broken legs. A HUGE thank you to all those who supported our appeal.
