Summer may actually be here!
But, it comes with a caveat….ensure you consider what hot weather means for your dogs. Please see this handy infographic from Vets Now, which describes how your dog can be affected by heat.
Remember also that hot pavements can burn a dog’s paws. Apply the 5-second rule – place the back of your hand on the pavement. If you cannot hold it there for five seconds, it’s too hot to walk your dog.
It also goes without saying, don’t leave your dog in hot cars!
