A HUGE Thank You to the Petplan Charitable Trust!

We are incredibly grateful for their generous £5,000 grant towards our veterinary costs.

Vet care is one of the biggest pressures on our charity’s finances. Every dog we help receives a full health check, vaccinations, flea and worming treatment, microchipping, and neutering if needed. And for the dogs who arrive sick, injured, or suffering from neglect, the costs can rise dramatically as they undergo the essential treatment they deserve.

That’s why support like this is truly invaluable. Thanks to this funding, we can continue Healing Homeless Hounds — providing vital veterinary care that prepares our rescue hounds for happy futures with loving families.

Here are seven such hounds: an accidental litter of lurcher puppies we stepped in to help – affectionately called the Halloween Puppies – Caspar, Autumn, Pumpkin, Boo, Ghost, Candy and Frankie! They all needed microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worming treatments — and poor little Ghost fell sick and required extra veterinary care before she was well enough to go home.

Because of the Petplan Charitable Trust, all seven puppies are now safe, healthy, and settling into their forever homes, ready for bright new futures.
