Forever Hounds Trust have dogs in need of a home of their own throughout the year, and we are grateful of a home offer for one of our dogs whenever it is made as once one of our dogs moves into its forever home a space is freed for another. The more dogs we home, the more dogs we can help, it’s that simple.
However, autumn is a particularly good time to adopt a rescued greyhound or lurcher because it means they are settled into their forever home in time for Christmas, which is the time of year when we many of us most enjoy being at home with our family.
Introducing Frank(incense!)…
With this in mind we would like to introduce Frank, a hound who has been with Forever Hounds Trust for a while now and would very much like to find a home of his own in time for Christmas!
Frank has already been nicknamed ‘Frankincense’ by the team at Forever Hounds Trust in the hope that he can be in his forever home by December 25th!
Frank is a very sweet and gentle greyhound boy, thought to be about four years old. He absolutely loves the company of people and particularly enjoys fuss and attention! He is generally pretty laid back, but he does enjoy a game or two and playing with toys.
Frank can be quite sensitive so would prefer to live in a quiet area. He has lived in a home before and is OK to be left alone for short periods during the day. Although Frank likes other dogs and wants to be sociable, he does need a bit of time to gain his confidence and will need someone who can take things slowly with him and let him meet friendly, sociable dogs to develop his confidence.
This handsome hound will make a brilliant and rewarding pet and would love to meet you! If you are able to offer Frank, or any of our other dogs a home of their own in time for Christmas, please do get in touch with us on 03000 111 100 or email enquiries@foreverhoundstrust.org.
