30 Years of Happy Tails: Eliza’s Journey to Confidence
To continue our series of stories featuring dogs who have been homed from us during our 30 years operating as a charity, we introduce the lovely Eliza. ❤️ Her mum and dad tell us…
Eliza is our second greyhound rehomed from you and has been with us for 8 years. She is now a very demure 11 year old, as you can see! She came to us as a very nervous, non-social dog, but with a lot of time, patience and care she gradually took to walks and socialising with dogs and humans. She greets dogs and humans now with a wagging tail. She is the most gentle and loving dog anyone could wish to have and is our grandson’s best friend. She takes life now at a very slow pace and is a big part of our family.
What a beautiful transformation. From a nervous girl unsure of the world around her to a gentle, loving family companion – who has even found a best friend in her favourite little human. ❤️
Eight wonderful years together, filled with patience, love and plenty of wagging tails. We think the very demure Eliza has certainly found her perfect place in the world. 🐾
