Rose is one of our wonderful volunteers who is going one step further in her efforts to raise funds for Forever Hounds Trust!
On Saturday 24th August she will be cutting off her long, waist-length hair and donating it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. But….not only is she losing SOME of her hair for good cause, she is losing ALL OF IT to help another good cause – Forever Hounds Trust! That’s right, she will be shaving off the rest of it to help our hounds!
Rose adopted Bandit from Forever Hounds Trust back in early 2019. She was one of eight puppies that arrived into our care. They were affectionately known as the Veggie Pups thanks to their names – Asparagus, Aubergine, Avocado, Brocolli, Leek, Lentil, Okra and Yam (Bandit’s name was changed on adoption). You can see them in all their cuteness here.
Please do give generously to this fundraiser so more dogs can enjoy the second chance at life that Bandit and her litter mates have. You can sponsor Rose by clicking here.
Rose is doing it in style too – the shave will be done at A Dog’s Day out at The Alhampton Inn in Shepton Mallet where we will have a stall. You can find out more about this event here.
