Happy Homing Story – Kenny

We were delighted to receive this wonderful update on adopted hound Kenny from his lovely mum.

To put this update into context, in 2022 when he was in our kennels we had to we had to do an emergency homing appeal as he really wasn’t coping with the shooting in the fields around our rural location. Fortunately his lovely family saw the appeal, came forward to adopt him, and the rest is history!

His mum picks up the story…

Kenny had his 8th birthday on 15th October! He is the perfect dog, has settled in so well and we are so happy to have him as part of the family. He is very loving and you can’t walk part him without him pawing you to be stroked. His favourite things are the sofa, zooming around the garden, cuddles & treats. When we first got him he was on medication for pain and anxiety. With the help of our vet we have weaned him off of it all and he couldn’t be happier and more relaxed. Thanks for all of the amazing work you do.
