In response to several messages we have received we wanted to clarify that Forever Hounds Trust is no longer a member of the Greyhound Forum. The decision to leave the forum was not taken by us, but our call for the phasing out of greyhound racing on welfare grounds has meant that our aims and objectives are incompatible with the Greyhound Forum.
Forever Hounds Trust remains dedicated to improving welfare for all greyhounds, and willing to work with all other organisations, including the racing industry, to effect positive change. However, as a pro-welfare organisation, our stance remains that the only way to ensure high standards of welfare for greyhounds is to phase out greyhound racing.
