Just over 3 years ago, heavily pregnant Sally (formerly Fennel) was rescued from the streets of Ireland. She subsequently gave birth to eight gorgeous pups – four boys and four girls. They were all given vegetable names, and hence became known as ‘The Veggie Pups’. Here they were in all their cuteness!
They were subsequently transferred into the care of Forever Hounds Trust to be homed around the country when they were just 4 months old. Three years on, and after real dedication from some of the pups owners, all families were in contact with each other and between them they arranged a reunion of this lovely litter and their mum! The families travelled from all corners of the country, and the dogs had a blast in a secure field, followed by lunch in a pub! Sadly one pup was missing due to his humans being poorly (we have a feeling they could be arranging another meet up soon!)
Check out these photos of a very special day for all concerned. The super cute pups have all grown into simply stunning dogs.
