We have received these very special photos of Forever Hounds Trust adoptee Sky (was Dara) helping her mum celebrate her 102nd birthday!
This lovely lady’s daughter tells us
Sky has settled so well. She is the perfect dog for all of us. She gets on well with all dogs including my crazy lurcher! She now has a toyboy (a friends cockapoo). She gets on well with the many squirrels in mums garden – she is so outnumbered she has given up and ignores them. All very happy here.
It just goes to show that we believe age is no barrier to adoption as long as the match is right, and family are on hand to support and help care for the dog if needed. Just look at the love and companionship Sky and her mum give each other, we really couldn’t wish for a better home.
