We quite often get people asking if we have an upper age limit on adopting a hound, well….we hope this picture speaks a thousand words…..
It was recently sent to us by the daughter of the lady in the photo who says “Thought you’d like to know Mum and Ella both well and happy. Mum will be 102 in Feb. Just shows how perfect greyhounds are for elderly people….at least, all mums have been.”
So, hopefully, that answers that question, but it also highlights that time is taken to assess all dogs that arrive into our care, and a suitable home found according to their needs, likes, dislikes, personalities etc. This also needs to take into account that we know the dog will always be looked after and well cared for.
As you can see, Ella was a perfect match for this lovely lady and we couldn’t be happier! ❤️
