About Buddy
Buddy is a loving 3 year old lurcher boy, looking for a new family due to a change of circumstances at home. Buddy has always lived with his current family, so is very used to home life; he’s housetrained, can spend reasonable periods of time alone, and spends most of his day sleeping in a comfortable spot! Buddy is very loving and thrives on plenty of fuss and attention from his family. He can be nervous of unfamiliar visitors to the home initially – he may bark and choose to keep his distance until he feels comfortable to make friends, which doesn’t usually take too long! Once Buddy gets to know someone, he’s very affectionate. He currently lives with a 12 year old, and could live with older children again, pending introductions. Buddy is sociable with other dogs, and is used to sharing his home. He could live with another dog pending introductions, but would be equally happy as the only pet at home, with plenty of human company. Buddy loves his walks! He walks well on-lead (though he can be strong if he wants to pull!), has great recall off-lead and travels well in the car.
Homing Needs
- Could live with older children, pending introductions.
- Could live with another dog (pending introductions) or as the only pet.
- Needs a secure, private garden.
- Can be left for reasonable periods alone (this must be built up gradually in the new home).
