About Isaac
Isaac is an 8-year old greyhound boy, looking for a quiet home. Isaac’s family have made the tough decision to rehome him, due to him being uncomfortable around their young child. Isaac is very chilled at home, spending most of his time snoozing! He is house-trained and has previously been fine with spending up to 4 hours at home alone (this would need to be built up gradually in the new home). He is totally used to home life, and very easy to live with! Isaac is very friendly with people and loves a gentle fuss, but is not demanding at all.
Isaac gets along really well with other dogs on walks but likes his personal space when resting, so needs to be the only dog. He’s happy with a couple of short walks each day, and walks beautifully on-lead (unless he spots a squirrel!). He can only be let off-lead in a fully secure area, as he has no recall! Isaac travels well in the car, and is happy to get out and about to dog friendly pubs and cafes etc – though he finds more urban environments overwhelming. Isaac is scared of loud noises, such as thunder, fireworks and gunshots. Although keen to chase wildlife and cats, he has been very sociable with horses and alpacas!
Homing Needs
- Must be the only dog at home (visiting dogs may be ok, depending on personality)
- Adult only home (older visiting children may be ok, if well supervised)
- Rural or quiet suburban home
- Quiet, calm environment
- Can be left up to 4 hours, but this will take time to build up
