Forever Hounds Trust are thrilled to release news of a project we have been advising on over the past year.
A new and emerging German based motorbike company called Avinnalaff approached us, asking for our greyhound expertise in the production of a brand new motorbike called the…..
The Greyhound.
The Greyhound is set to be the very first bike of its kind, and features:
- A stunning body modelled on the beautiful sleek lines of a greyhound
- LED headlight eyes subtly integrated into the face
- Handlebar ears, which can be extended when the bike is in use for safety
- Reduced engine noise to represent the quiet nature of a greyhound
- Despite its look, a top speed of 45 mph to match that of a real greyhound
- A hidden GPS tracker, so you know where your bike is at any time.
As this bike has been designed to specifically promote rescue greyhounds, and in particular Forever Hounds Trust, in line with our vision that greyhound racing is phased out In the UK, any buyer will have to sign a disclaimer committing to the following:
- The bike will NOT be modified and used on any racetrack at any time
- The bike will be loved and cared for at all times
- The bike will be kept inside when not in use.
This is just a first glance of this beautiful and exciting new product, more details will be released in due course.
Update!
Our learnings from today….
Everyone loves our new design motorbike (whether you’re a biker or not!), but some of you are worried about:
- Emissions
- It suddenly stopping for no known reason
- Its inability to work in the rain
- Potential sudden high pitched screaming
- It might re-route if it identified a squirrel
- It might need to be recharged upside down for 18 hours
(You have a point!)
However, many of you would actually like us not to be ‘Avinalaff’ and wished that The Greyhound Motorbike was actually going into production! Who knows, someone might see our post and make it happen! 🤣
Thank you to everyone for joining in with our bit of fun today, and we hope you all enjoyed our April Fool’s joke! 😊
