HUGE Congratulations to Jackie Hilton on being a finalist for ‘Volunteer of the Year’ in this year’s Petplan and ADCH Animal Charity Awards!
Jackie is an absolute superstar and without her help we simply would not be able to help the number of dogs that we do. In what was a very difficult year for fundraising, Jackie took it upon herself to run the charity’s online fundraising page, and through her proactiveness and dedication in running numerous auctions, raffles and sales right throughout the year, she raised close on an astounding £18,000!
Not only has Jackie raised this incredible amount to allow us to help so many more hounds, she also helps them directly. She can often be found behind the wheel of one of our vans, transporting dogs for us, bringing them to our kennels and foster homes and caring for them while in transit. Oh, did we mention, she has done a bit of fostering too?!
We are so grateful for everything Jackie does to help our charity and our hounds, and absolutely delighted that her amazing contribution has been recognised by the Animal Charity Awards!
