Whilst we have been careful to ensure our anniversary celebrations have taken place at cooler times, we are saddened to see that some greyhound tracks are still racing.
Why, when there is so much in the public domain about dogs not being out in the heat, is it different for greyhounds? We understand that not everywhere in England and Wales is experiencing the same temperatures and that thankfully some tracks have abandoned races due to the temperatures.
But we can also see that some tracks are racing in this heat and this cannot be acceptable welfare.
