We love hearing how our adopted hounds are getting on, no matter how long ago they were adopted. Therefore it made our day when we received this update on Bree from his lovely dad!
Bree turned ten on, aptly, April Fool’s Day! He was adopted from Forever Hounds Trust in July 2019 and is enjoying life in Wiltshire. When he first arrived he was unsure when people stroked him, but now he loves to walk around Salisbury, go to his favourite coffee shop and accept the adulation of his fans!
He leans into people that he meets to make sure that they stroke him and can’t get away! Bree enjoys lazing in the sun (well, generally lazing anywhere) and going on walks in the countryside. He loves all the dogs and people in the village, especially the dogs that he has his morning walk with most days.
He has been a great companion for the six years that I have had the privilege to share with him. Like all greyhounds he has his quirks, especially when he wants to go in a particular direction; he just stops and stares you out until you see things his way. Oh…and don’t mention treats!
