We just love receiving updates on our adopted hounds, so we were delighted to hear about Gilbert Grape, who not only is a wonderful companion for his loving family, he’s also demonstrating his skills in agility! His lovely dad says….
“Gilbert Grape came to us in July 2016, having been rescued in Ireland. How lucky are we to share our lives with such a gorgeous boy!? Within a week, he had his feet under the table with our other lurchers, Lucy and Matty, though he’s never learned how to play without getting overexcited and rough.
What he has learned is Agility, which he loves! Last year he progressed to grade 4 in the Kennel Club’s seven grades, and only needs two more wins to go up to grade 5 (wish us luck!). You can see him at work in the video below.”
What a clever and handsome boy he is! We wish Gilbert Grape every success in achieving his grade 5 (and above!).
