Greyhounds, known for their sleek build, have a history that traces back thousands of years, symbolising nobility and agility. Contrary to popular belief, they often don’t need a lot of exercise, and can be absolute couch potatoes at heart – normally with all four legs in the air!
Lurchers, the charming hybrids are equally deserving of our admiration. They inherit the best of their parent breeds (at least one a sighthound) which makes them unique, versatile, and utterly endearing companions.
Both greyhounds and lurchers often find themselves in need of loving homes, especially greyhounds rescued from racing. Adopting one not only gives these gentle souls a second chance but also fills your life with unmatched loyalty and affection.
